Blog Prompt: Imagine that the President has asked you to announce a new national holiday, and it can be anything you want. What new holiday would you create, and why would you create that day and not something else?

The holiday that I would create would be called, "Dessert Day."  On this day, desserts would be free at every restaurant after every meal.  You could also get one free dessert per person at any dessert shop.  I would choose this holiday because it would be fun for everyone.

My second day at camp

Blog Prompt: What is a place you would like to go at least once in your life? Describe it and tell me why you want to go there.

I had a lot of fun at camp today.  If I could go anywhere in the world, I would go to Egypt. I have been interested in ancient Egypt for a long time mainly because of the culture of that time.  I would like to go to the Great Pyramids and the Valley of the Kings.  I have read a lot about these places, but I have thought for a long time that it would be fun to visit.

My First Day of Camp

Blog Prompt: Tell us about your favorite hobby. What is it? Why do you like it? Explain!

Today at camp, I had a lot of fun and also learned a lot.  My hobbies include reading, swimming, playing the violin, traveling, and doing art.  I participate in a swim team because I enjoy swimming and like competitions.  I have been playing the violin for a little more than two and a half years. I have traveled recently and really enjoyed it. My favorite vacation that I have been on was to Australia, in April of this year. I also really enjoy doing art. when I have time, I enjoy working on one of my projects in our garage.  Recently, I have been doing a lot of painting.
